  • If when conducting a three-glassed sample, the maximum number of leukocytes is in the first portion, the following tests are needed: an imprint on enterobiosis in both sexes, in men - a smear from the urethra, and in women - a smear from the vagina. Both smear should be sent to a bacteriological laboratory.
  • During a three-glass test or a separate study, it is necessary to determine the shape of the white blood cells:
    • if most white blood cells are neutrophils, it says: pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis, acute glomerulonephritis, or an exacerbation of chronic glomerulonephritis.
